Appstore Troubleshooting

The vendor parameter is an Appstore Connect that represents a payment account in Apple's system, and can be fetched from by the next instructions (of course it requires admin permissions on the account);

View your vendor number

You can view your Vendor Number at any time in App Store Connect. Vendor Numbers are needed for downloading reports using the App Store Connect API.

1. From the homepage, click Payments and Financial Reports.

2. Your Vendor Number appears in the top left hand corner under your Legal Entity Name.

Another option to see if you have permissions for reporting in Appstore Connect Sales and Trends is:

1. From the homepage, click on Sales and Trends.
2. Click on the Sales and Trends Reports in the main menu.
3. In the side of each report, you can see the vendor name and vendor number. If the report doesn't exist for this vendor, the vendor doesn't have permission for this specific report.
