You can now authenticate your Snowflake Source connections with OAuth2, ensuring secure and streamlined data extraction in accordance with modern security requirements.

App Store Analytics: Improved Incremental Data Logic

We’re introducing smarter incremental data loading for App Store Analytics :

  • Each report now uses a fixed "days back" window based on Apple’s data completeness guidelines.
  • Only full-day reports are pulled, reducing errors from partial data.
  • Reports requiring up to 8 days for completeness default to 2 days back (e.g., airplay_discovery_sessions, crabs_based_video_playback_usage, keyboard_dictation_usage).
  • Other reports can still be updated up to 8 days back manually.

This applies when running a report in incremental mode. If you specify custom start and end dates, they will be automatically adjusted after the River run to meet the API’s data completeness requirements.
This change delivers greater reliability and consistency in incremental data handling.

Hibob

  • Authentication Update: REST API tokens have been replaced by Service Users for authentication.

  • The “People” and “People Search” reports have been updated and merged into a unified “Search for Employees” report.

For any fields missing from the new report, we’ve implemented a workaround: these are now fetched from a different endpoint and included as dropdown options under Table Settings in the Search for Employees Predefined Report.
    That means:

    • Custom Report: Only fetches endpoints as configured in the API for each user token.

    • Predefined Report: Includes both the standard Search for Employees fields and any deprecated fields (note: these combined fields appear only in the Target table, not in the Console’s Schema tab).
