Article summary

What's New? 🚀

Integration

  • Google BigQuery as a Source is a fully managed and serverless data warehouse provided by Google Cloud Platform.

Following BigQuery's initial integration as a Target, Rivery has expanded its capabilities to include BigQuery as a Source. This enhancement offers you advantage of harnessing BigQuery's robust data storage and querying features, seamlessly incorporating this data into your Rivers.

Features

  • Skip Initial Migration - When a user selects the option to "Remove the Initial Migration for all Tables", the status will promptly transition from "waiting for migration" to "streaming." This change is particularly important because it empowers users to bypass the migration process if the tables already exist on the target system, such as in scenarios where a client previously utilized Standard Extraction mode and now intends to migrate data using Change Data Capture (CDC).

  • Databricks as a Target now allows you to configure a Custom FileZone when connecting to Azure Blob storage.

  • Improvements have been made to the Rivery Sign-Up Process, featuring a fresh new design. Additionally, users now have the flexibility to create their account in their desired region.

Sources Updates

  • Amazon S3 - We have improved the extraction capabilities and incremental loading mechanism for the source. Additionally, we have introduced the ability to extract Excel files. Furthermore, we have expanded the connector's capabilities to include loading Zip files, allowing clients to load zip files of various supported file types, such as CSV, Excel, and JSON.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Predefined Reports are now officially available.
  • Google Ads API has been updated to version 14.

Kits ⭐

  • The TikTok Kits integrate data from various components within the TikTok Marketing API, offering a comprehensive data infrastructure that facilitates the monitoring of paid TikTok campaigns' performance and enables in-depth analytical insights.

This means that TikTok Kits act as a bridge, pulling information from various Sources within the TikTok Marketing API, such as user engagement metrics, ad spend data, and demographic details, and then synthesizing this diverse data into a unified model. This unified data model serves as a powerful tool for businesses and marketers who want to closely track and evaluate the effectiveness of their paid TikTok advertising campaigns. Furthermore, it enables you to conveniently load this data into your data warehouses, including:

    • TikTok - BigQuery
    • TikTok - Redshift
    • TikTok - Databricks
    • TikTok - Snowflake.

  • The Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Kits offer a convenient solution by providing pre-designed templates for predefined reports within Google Analytics 4 (GA4). These reports cover a wide range of crucial dimensions and metrics, including demographic insights, user engagement, monetization data, technology-related statistics, and acquisition metrics. Furthermore, it enables you to conveniently load this data into your data warehouses, including:

    • GA4 - Google BigQuery
    • GA4 to Snowflake.
