Blueprint Intro

Blueprint is Rivery's new connector builder, offering an editor interface for building connectors using a low-code (YAML) approach. Blueprints enables you to create connectors for data migration without leaving your Rivery workspace. This is the easiest method for developing and maintaining connectors and data pipelines.

When should you use Blueprint?
Start by checking if the connector you need is already available in Rivery's pre-built connectors. If it is, you can use it directly. If not, Blueprint is the tool for you.

In general, Blueprint is ideal for connecting to an HTTP API that provides data as a collection of JSON records with fixed endpoints.

Getting started

High-level process for using Blueprint:

Access Blueprints from the left side-bar.
In the Blueprints page you can view, manage and create Blueprints.
Click on "Add Blueprint" and the Blueprint editor will open.
Here you'll see a scaffold YAML file for you to use as a reference.
Once saved, the Blueprint file can now be used as a Source in a Source to Target pipeline.
