ElasticSearch Connection

This is a step-by-step tutorial for creating a ElasticSearch connection.

Prerequisites

You must first set up your database's Host, Port, Username, and Password before connecting to ElasticSearch.

Please Note:

• If you are using a cloud Elasticsearch, the location of the Host is provided here:

  

• If you are using an on-premise Elasticsearch, it is advisable to refer to the documentation provided by Elastic.

• Without requiring any network configuration, Elasticsearch will automatically bind to the available addresses and scan local ports 9300 to 9305 in order to establish connections with other nodes running on the same server.

Connection Procedure

1. Whitelist our IPs.
2. Choose your Connection Name.
3. Enter Host.
4. Fill in the Port Number.
5. Enter your Username and Password.
6. Use the Test Connection function to see if your connection is up to the task.
   If the connection succeeded, you can now use this connection in Rivery.
