This guide will walk you through the steps for setting up the Servicenow connector in Rivery.
Creating a Servicenow connection
Prerequisite
- A username in Servicenow.
- A password in Servicenow.
- A URL domain for your data in Servicenow. User permission is required to access the tables inside the domain.
To set the connection, all you need is the username, password, and a URL domain from your Servicenow account
1. In your Rivery Account, go to Connections
2. Press on +Create New Connection
3. Choose Servicenow
4. Fill a suitable name under Connection Name and insert the connection details
Username - your Servicenow username
Password - your Servicenow user's password
URL domain - the domain in Servicenow you want to connect and your user has permissions to access
5. Click Save and create the connection
6. Run the Test Connection method. If the connection passed, you are ready to work with this connection in Rivery.
Example of URL domain:
When you log in to your Servicenow account the URL should look like this:
https://riverydomain.service-now.com
riverydomain is the URL domain to copy into the URL domain in the connection.
