What's New? 🚀

Features

Extended Execution Time: Rivery now supports handling large tables that require more than the previous 12-hour execution limit. This enhancement ensures that Rivers can complete the loading of extensive datasets efficiently. If necessary, Rivery will automatically extend the processing time for large tables up to 48 hours, guaranteeing the successful completion of data loading processes.
This applies to RDBMS tables and large API reports.
Note: Rivery will automatically process large tables for up to 48 hours if needed. Adjust the default time parameter in your River's settings tab to limit the run time.

Sources Updates

  • Pendo has been enhanced with the following updates:

    • Custom Fields: We now support column mapping for all Pendo custom fields, offering greater flexibility and adaptability.

    • Metadata Fields: Previously flattened metadata fields will now be represented as records with nested fields, maintaining their original structure.

    • Field Naming Conventions: Alphanumeric characters in field names will be converted to underscores. For columns starting with numbers, an underscore will be added to the field name (e.g., _4345).

    • Conflicting Data Types: Improved error handling for conflicting data types during mapping. Instead of discarding data, conflicting columns will be cast to strings while preserving their structure.

    • Predefined Reports: All changes to custom fields also apply to predefined reports. These reports will now use the JSON datatype at the second level for nested fields, and "metadata_ids" will be included in dedicated reports.

  • Facebook Ads - Introducing a new update allowing access to comprehensive video data. Facebook Ads now supports all requested video data fields within the Ad Creatives report. To utilize this feature, navigate to the Ad Creatives report, select the Post Data and Object Data checkboxes, and customize your fields under Video Fields.

  • Stripe has been updated with a new report - Itemized payout reconciliation 5

  • LinkedIn Social was upgraded to v2023-07.

Kits

  • Amazon Q Data Sync - This kit enhances Amazon Q's RAG-based (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) enterprise AI chat application by utilizing the StartDataSourceSyncJob to initiate and manage data source synchronization. It ensures that data ingestion processes are always up-to-date, providing the AI with continuous access to the latest data. By keeping data sources current, the AI application can deliver more accurate and relevant responses, significantly improving the user experience.
  • Tableau Refresh - This kit enables the refresh of Tableau data sources via Rivery action rivers using their API. Instead of scheduling updates within Tableau, the kit can be scheduled to run immediately after a river, seamlessly adding the latest data to the front-end dashboard.
