  • Google Private Service Connect - With Private Service Connect, you can now connect to primary Cloud SQL instances and their read replicas from multiple Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks, even across different groups, teams, projects, or organizations.

    • Enhanced Security: Eliminates the need for public IPs, ensuring secure data transfer.
    • Reduced Latency: Connect to SQL instances with improved internal network performance.

    Please Note:
Google Private Service Connect is exclusively available to users on the Enterprise plan

Targets Updates

  • Snowflake - We’re pleased to announce support for default values for the Database and Schema in Snowflake target connections.

The connection form now includes a "Default Database/Schema" section. This allows you to specify the database and schema you want to work with, and the connection will automatically remember and use these as the default.

This enhancement streamlines the setup process and reduces configuration time for Rivers, improving the overall user experience.

  • Google BigQuery - Added support for NUMERIC and BIGNUMERIC data types:

    • SHORTDECIMAL now maps to NUMERIC (up to 9 decimal places).
    • LONGDECIMAL now maps to BIGNUMERIC (over 9 decimal places).

This update ensures improved precision when syncing decimal values to BigQuery.

Sources Updates

This enhancement improves decimal precision in data synchronization from Snowflake to Rivery.

  • Oracle - We’re excited to introduce support for Oracle rollbacks within the same archived redo log file. This enhancement allows our CDC flow to handle both full and partial rollbacks, ensuring that any rollback associated with a transaction ID (XID) in the same log file is fully supported.

    • Why This Matters: Previously, rollbacks in the source database weren’t reflected in the target, potentially leading to data inconsistencies. With this update, only the final, committed data state is replicated, ensuring data consistency across your systems.
  • Monday Connector now supports API Version 2024-10.

  • Shopify Connector now supports API Version 2024-10.
