SAP Hana can be accessed in two different ways:

  • SSH Tunnel

To create a connection with Credentials, complete these steps:

  1. Fill in the Connection's Name and Host.
  2. Input Port and Database.
  3. Enter User Name and Password.
  4. Use the Test Connection function to see if your connection is up to the task. If the connection succeeded, you can now use this connection in Rivery.

To create a connection with an SSH Tunnel:

Configure your SSH Tunnel server in your network to use SSH Tunneling via Rivery. This server will be able to connect to your database server via the internal IP or address, and will accept SSH connections from Rivery IPs.

After you've set up SSH tunneling, go through the following steps:

  1. Click on SSH Tunnel and check Use SSh Tunnel at the bottom of the window.
