Integrations

Snowflake as a Source (Currently in Beta) is a cloud-based data warehouse recognized for its high performance, scalability, and the ability to separate storage from compute resources.

By utilizing Snowflake as a Source within Rivery, you can harness its advanced data warehousing and querying capabilities. This integration allows you to effectively manage and incorporate Snowflake data into your Rivery managed data workflows.

Features

Time Zone Offset for Incremental Runs - We are excited to announce the addition of a Time Zone Offset feature for incremental runs across all RDBMS. This enhancement enables support for varying time zones between UTC and local time during incremental data loads.

This feature becomes available when you select the "Time" related incremental field.

Targets Updates

Snowflake as a Target - A new "Define NULL Values List" option has been added to the UI, enabling you to customize which values are treated as null in your target data. This enhancement provides greater control over your data transformations.

  • New YouTube Reports – We've added 2 new reports for YouTube, offering enhanced insights into user engagement and retention:
    • "Time-Based User Activities"
This report provides detailed statistics on user actions over specific time intervals. You can filter the report to focus on a particular video or country.
    • "User Geography"
This report breaks down user activity on a country-by-country basis for your channel. You can also filter it by video to get more targeted insights.

  • Facebook Social- We are excited to introduce the 'Ignore Errors' function, designed to bypass errors like permission issues. This feature helps prevent disruptions when thresholds are reached.

  • MongoDB – We’re excited to introduce a new update in the MongoDB source connector that simplifies the mapping process:

    • Document ID Mapping: You can now map data using specific document IDs. If no matches are found, you’ll receive an error notification. However, if at least one match is found, the mapping proceeds, and you’ll be notified of any unmatched IDs in the collection.

    • JSON File Mapping: You can now upload a JSON file to define your mapping, giving you greater control and precision in specifying the expected structure.

This update lets you define the number of rows to sample. Since MongoDB lacks table metadata due to its schemaless nature, determining the schema can be challenging. By default, 100 documents are sampled to infer the structure, which may lead to incomplete mappings.
This new update provides greater flexibility and control over data mapping, helping to mitigate potential issues.
It is available in both Legacy and Multi-tables modes.

  • Criteo - We have upgraded Criteo to version 202404.

Kits

  • Zendesk to Snowflake - The Zendesk Kit offers a comprehensive solution for integrating Zendesk data into Snowflake. This kit consolidates data from various entities within the Zendesk API, enabling seamless data extraction and transformation. It provides a full, pre-built data model for Zendesk, designed to capture and organize key data points across multiple entities. By using this kit, users can efficiently sync their Zendesk data into Snowflake, simplifying data management and analysis.
