Article Summary

Single sign-on (SSO) is a method for authenticating users where a single set of credentials can be used to log into several different applications. This is especially useful in a corporate setting, when you want your employees to be able to access a variety of applications using their company credentials.

Rivery supports SSO via SAML 2.0 and acts as a service provider (SP) for SSO. The client must implement a federation service to act as an identity provider (IdP).

Federation can be accomplished through an in-house or third party provider.
Common third-party IdPs include:

  • ADFS 2.0/3.0
  • Google Cloud
  • Okta
  • OneLogin
Note

SSO is only available in the Enterprise plan.
